My cousin worked for Corning and helped with the original design. He had his mother and mine test cook with sample test sets and the first ones had to have a do over on the finish because food stuck to them. This broke the twist end off, & the rest of the handle is still stuck tight to the pan. I'll try WD40 on the metal parts that grab onto the pan handle, but I really don't know how to pry them apart from each other if they don't come off easily when they unseize. I have only a vague 45-yr-old memory of seeing it put on. Since they were not supposed to have been produced in white, my theory is someone simply used the head of a black P-10 and put it on a white centura handle. In your pictures, it appears the handles and the points where the screws holding in place are identical. The heads should be interchangeable. But it's only a theory. If I could find an actual centura handle, I could test my theory :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2276608745809098353.post-77119572798491181842016-11-26T03:27:01.465-08:002016-11-26T03:27:01.465-08:00Hi Carol, Did you find out?
